We are a family of four, Chris, Pam, Sarah and Rebecca who run a Bed & Breakfast midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, catering for families, couples and business people. The property includes two buildings, an old Queenslander built approximately 100 years ago and a Lodge built in the mid 1990’s to match the original wooden structure of the Queenslander. The Logan City Council has approved three rooms for Bed and breakfast, two in the Queenslander and the third being the Lodge itself. We had to go through Council approval for material change of use from a residential to a business dwelling so we can offer advice for those people considering Bed and Breakfast as a start up venture as well as those of you established and involved actively in the business.
